When We Are Closed

Out of Hours

If you need URGENT medical attention when the surgery is closed please telephone the Out of Hours Doctor Service - 9079 6220.
SEBDOC (South and East Belfast Doctor on Call) – provides this practice with Emergency medical services when we are closed, i.e. evenings, night time, weekends and bank holidays.

SEBDOC emergency call centre is in the grounds of Forster Green Hospital near Forestside shopping centre.

When you call, a receptionist will ask for the patient's details. Calls will be triaged and doctors will phone back at the earliest opportunity to assess what action needs to be taken.

You may be given telephone advice or you may be invited to come to the centre for examination. Occasionally home visits are required for housebound patients.

SEBDOC is not a “drop in” service and initial contact must be made by telephoning 028 9079 6220

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
